RMAO hit the high notes at the Irish Open Accordion Championships.

The Irish Accordion Championships were held in the Castle Arch Hotel, Trim on Saturday and Sunday 8th and 9th April, 2017. The Adjudicator for the weekend festival was Kevin Street from London. The standard in all competitions was very high and RMAO Members collected many of the sought after solo prizes. The full version of the results is available on the IAA Festival page on this site.

Gala Concert:

Royal Meath Accordion Orchestra members claim 6 of the 8 solo places at the Gala Concert. Participants were chosen by the adjudicator as high achievers at this years IAA Open Accordion Festival. Congratulations to all, what an achievement.

Next stop is the National Accordion Organisation of the UK Championships in Liverpool where the Orchestra and soloists will have to do it all over again!!
