The Northern Ireland Open Accordion Festival was held in the Loughshore Hotel, Carrickfergus on Saturday 23rd February, 2019. It was one of the biggest Open Accordion Festival festivals ever held in Carrickfergus with in excess of 200 entries from Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, Great Britain and Germany.

Royal Meath Accordion Orchestra were delighted to be in a position to enter both individual and orchestra competitions despite their busy schedule with their Fundraising Concert taking place on March 2nd, 2019.

Once again Royal Meath performers were very successful in individual competition and collected numerous 1st, 2nd, 3rd and fourth prizes in individual competition. Our Preparatory Orchestra and Intermediate Orchestra were placed first in their respective sections.

A big congratulations to all the advanced solo players who all were placed 1st in their respective sections. Pictured below are some of our prize-winners.
