The Festival was held in the Loughshore Hotel. Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim on Saturday 25th February, 2017. Adjudicators were Ms.Sarah McEvoy and Mr. Ivan Black.

It was a great day for Royal Meath AO members who collected:

18 First Places

8 Second Places

5 Third Places

3 Fourth Places.

RMAO Elementary Orchestra were placed first in their section and overall Orchestra winners.

Our percussion section were placed 2nd amongst all the competing groups, well done!

Best Overall Performance: First Place to Madison Doherty who was awarded the prestigious Jim Davidson Cup:

Third Place to Cassie Honan.

The James Semple Perpetual Cup was awarded to Ciara Masterson and the President’s Cup to Katya Murray.

On behalf of the members and Management committee a huge well done to all our young performers. We also wish to thank Clyde for his work and dedication in organising the 20th Festival.
