Royal Meath Accordion Orchestra – Exceptional Talent.

The Community Hall in Freshford, Co. Kilkenny was the place to be last Friday night, October 21st. It was the location for The Acorn Club’s  annual Variety Show. What an array of talent. It could have been staged in any  City concert Hall…superb!

The Orchestra, under the baton of their MD – Gerard Kelly,  was delighted to be invited to perform. It was a packed hall, not a vacant seat and the audience were there to be entertained. The young orchestra performed to a world standard with a variety programme including a vocal from Madison Doherty and a Classical Accordion Solo from Rachel Fitzpatrick.

We wish to thank all the members for their hard work in preparing for the event, the parents for their input, the committee for all the organisation surrounding the event. Special thanks goes to the people of Kilkenny and surrounding area and the members of the Acorn Club for the invite and for the hospitality.
