Not long to go now! Royal Meath Accordion Orchestra are excited to be organising this event in Duleek.
Our evening of music will take you to many parts of the world. You will hear young musicians tell stories through their ability to play an instrument. We are delighted to feature a number of our beginner students and our more advanced students, together with our Ensemble and Orchestra. Two of our soloists and the Ensemble will represent Ireland at the world famous “Prague Accordion Days Competition” in late October 2024.
In addition Royal Meath AO welcome a gifted pianist and a world class Irish Dancer from St. Patrick’s NS, Slane. A big thank you to their parents for helping in this project.
Our special guest is Shauneen Maguire who joins us from Derrylin, Co. Fermanagh. Shauneen is an accomplished Accordionist and harpist. See her details below.
Just a reminder to everyone that recording of the performances by any means is not allowed. Flash photography during performances is also not allowed. RMAO Photographer will be on hand to make sure that digital images are available.
Culture Night Duleek commences at 7.30pm sharp and will conclude at 9,30pm.
Light refreshments will be served after the recital evening.
We hope you can attend what promised to be music filled evening in the historic Duleek Courthouse.
This Project is supported by Meath County Council Arts Office, Culture Night and the Arts Council.
